EMC Test Technician

Overview

The EMC Test Technician will be responsible for performing a number of tasks associated with customer test programs for FCC & CE Compliance.  This is a very hands-on position that will require the person to interact with a number of different customers on many different levels.  The position will be primarily a first shift position with the core hours of 8 AM to 5 PM.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electronics and two or more years of
  testing experience in a fast paced, client focused EMC laboratory.
• Must work well in a team environment and also individually.
• Proven ability to support multiple projects, with a constant quality focus, in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
• Proven ability to communicate, both verbally and written, concepts, ideas, and routine details to various levels of technical and non-technical engineering and management personnel.
• Experience working within an ISO17025 Quality System.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Computer literate and able to effectively utilize the major Microsoft programs such as Word or Outlook.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
